Wow! Just, wow! We spent the holidays this year cruising Antarctica on the world’s first discovery yacht, the Scenic Eclipse. More to come documenting our adventures with icebergs, penguins, and seals, but for now, let’s take a photo-tour of luxury at its finest.

First up, the Eclipse’s hot-tub scene leaves nothing to be desired. Imagine yourself soaking your body in one of these, while also soaking in these views! You have four to choose from, so you’ll never get bored.

Fancy a king-size bed, luxury linens, and a 12-option pillow menu? This ship is the place for you. Plus your own private balcony to enjoy the ever changing views.

How about some yoga or pilates? Classes offered daily, plus all the accoutrement, like blocks, straps, mats, and more. Or really challenge yourself with a treadmill run on the high seas! They’ve got weights, bikes, and ellipticals too, for the balance challenged.

The bar scene won’t let you down, with a choice of more than 200 whiskeys, cocktails, wines, and spirits. I personally enjoyed a nightly glass of champagne. Or grab an almond-milk cappuccino, and some freshly baked pastries or a piping hot bowl of soup in the café. Yum.

And somehow the dining options feel endless. Whether you’r having hand-made pesto pasta in the Italian bistro, albacore sashimi at the sushi bar, or seven courses of France’s finest, you can’t go wrong.
